USBC Hall of Fame dinner is Nov. 10
The Auburn USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame dinner will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10, at the Sunset Restaurant, North Division Street, Auburn.

This year's inductees are Paul Samasuck, Ed Detomaso, Louis Matro, Diane O'Donnell and Betty Stevens. Seasonal awards will also be presented.

Reservations can be made by calling Diane O'Donnell at 252-1939 by Thursday, Nov. 1.

The cost is $20 per ticket.

Pasta dinner will benefit Pop Warner

There will be a pasta dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Knights of Columbus, 47 Market St., Auburn, to raise money for Auburn Pop Warner cheerleaders and football players who travel.

Take-out and delivery are available.There will also be a bake sale, a 50/50 raffle and other prizes.

New fall programs at Cato Rec Center

The Cato-Meridian Community Recreation Center is offering the following programs: swim lessons for babies and youth, arthritis water class, osteoporosis exercise program and karate.

New programs this session include aerobics and kickboxing.

The seven-week session starts the week of Nov. 5.

YMCA offering girls lacrosse league

The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is offering a seven-week girls lacrosse instructional league for girls ages 8 to 12 years starting Nov. 3.

The league will introduce participants to the game of lacrosse with emphasis on skill development, practice games and sportsmanship.

Space is limited so early registration is recommended.

The fee is $30 for Y members and $60 for the general public.

Track & field class begins next month

The Central New York Track & Field Officials Association is holding training sessions for new officials from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and 14, at Canastota High School.

Muzzleloading class this Saturday

Bass Pro Shops Sportsman's Center will conduct a Black Powder and Muzzleloading Redhead Outdoor Skills Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Students can learn basics and advanced techniques of black powder and muzzleloading.

Turkey raffle to benefit Pop Warner

There will be a turkey raffle at 5 p.m. on Nov. 3 at Tinker's to benefit both the Auburn Pop Warner cheerleaders and football players who travel.

There will be raffles, free hot dogs, chili and more.

700 Club Doubles are Nov. 11
