HIT: To what appeared to be a safe and fun Halloween. Children around the area collected their treats and tricks were few to be found.
Tack on a wonderful autumn day and it was as beautiful a Halloween you could ever have. Now, it's time to eat some sweets.
MISS: To a lawsuit by 16 county workers over exposure to asbestos.

HIT: To a special assembly at West Middle School this week. The Rosamond Gifford Zoo's Zoo to You, a traveling education program came to Auburn, sponsored by the family of Joscelyn Barry.

Barry wanted to be involved with animals when she grew up and her memory could inspire another child to take the same path.
HIT: To students getting involved in the political process. All over Cayuga County, local schools have been holding candidate forums in which students ask questions. This is a great way to get young people into the important habit of paying attention to local current events.
