Mixed doubles tourney is at Starlite
The third annual Mixed Doubles tournament at Starlite Lanes will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 18.
The tournament is a mixed doubles format and bowling must be sanctioned in the local bowling association.
Handicap for the tournament is 100 percent of 200 for women and 100 percent of 220 for men.
Entry forms can be picked up at any local bowling center or on the Web site www.auburnusbc.com.

USBC Hall of Fame dinner is Nov. 10
The Auburn USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame dinner will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10, at the Sunset Restaurant.
This year's inductees are Paul Samasuck, Ed Detomaso, Louis Matro, Diane O'Donnell and Betty Stevens.
Seasonal awards will also be presented.
Reservations can be made by calling Diane O'Donnell at 252-1939 by Thursday, Nov. 1.
The cost is $20 per ticket.
Pasta dinner will benefit Pop Warner
There will be a pasta dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Knights of Columbus, 47 Market St., Auburn, to raise money for Auburn Pop Warner cheerleaders and football players who travel. Take-out and delivery are available.There will also be a bake sale, a 50/50 raffle and other prizes.

The Cato-Meridian Community Recreation Center is offering the following programs: swim lessons for babies and youth, arthritis water class, osteoporosis exercise program and karate.
New programs this session include aerobics and kickboxing.
The seven-week session starts the week of Nov. 5.

YMCA offering girls lacrosse league
The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is offering a seven-week girls lacrosse instructional league for girls ages 8 to 12 years starting Nov. 3.
The league will introduce participants to the game of lacrosse with emphasis on skill development, practice games and sportsmanship.
Space is limited so early registration is recommended.
The fee is $30 for Y members and $60 for the general public. For more information, call the YMCA at 253-5304.
Track & field class begins next month
The Central New York Track & Field Officials Association is holding training sessions for new officials from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and 14, at Canastota High School.

Bass Pro Shops Sportsman's Center will conduct a Black Powder/Muzzleloading Redhead Outdoor Skills Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 3.
