The Marathon boys soccer team found the net midway through the first overtime, ending Southern Cayuga's season with a 3-2 win a Section IV, Class C semifinal Monday in Marathon.
Marathon took an early 2-0 lead but the Chiefs' Tony Brown-Rejman answered with two goals, one in each half, to tie the game.

Southern Cayuga's defense held strong throughout regulation.

“I'm really proud of our guys,” Chiefs coach Terry Underwood said. “I thought we played as best as we could possibly play.”

Southern Cayuga ends its season with a 13-4-1 record.
