When many loyal and dedicated Cato-Meridian Republicans distance themselves and refuse to support their party's candidates for Cato Town Board, it's obviously time for a change. Vote for change and getting some sanity back into our town board, by voting for Irv Foster and Stuffy House, Tuesday, Nov. 6.
I guess it is OK to brag about using every trick in the book to get defendants off, but not OK for victims to speak out about crimes committed against them.
Where are the signs for the Auburn High School 2006 State championship football team. Mayor Lattimore in one of his usual grandstanding moments promised to have a sign at each entry point to our city.
To the person who wrote in Two Cents about the school districts for playing loud music at the game, all I can say is wow, get a life! This is a good thing that the community enjoys, the noise is people cheering for the wonderful job the band does, and our support for our football players.
Meridian and surrounding area voters, and sympathetic Cato voters, please make a point to get out and vote for what's right for the majority.
We don't need a new mayor - what we need is a strong city manager, which we now have. With Dempsey gone, things will get better fast.
