Klink is the candidate to get Owasco back on track

Monday, October 29, 2007 9:46 AM EDT

As a former Republican Owasco town clerk for 25 years, I am writing to support John Klink for Owasco supervisor. Frankly, I am embarrassed for what Owasco has become over the last two years. Prior to the 2006 administration, the environment at the town hall was bi-partisan and there for the sole purpose of serving Owasco's residents regardless of party affiliation.
I recall fondly going to the New York State and Cayuga County Town Clerk Association meetings and proudly saying that I was from Owasco. We were well known for our competency, efficiency and reliable service. As town clerk, I worked with John Klink in his role as town councilman. I witnessed firsthand John's ability and diligent work ethic. He values the importance of listening to and hearing the needs of residents. John is the leader Owasco deserves at this time. I have the utmost respect for him as do countless others who have had the privilege of working with him. He has always remained dedicated to the people of the Town of Owasco.

I am confident he will continue to work for you and with you to bring Owasco's reputation back to what it was when I had the good fortune to work for the town. Please join me to support John Klink for Owasco supervisor.
