Current position exactly where I want to be in life
Each Monday, The Citizen features someone from the Finger Lakes community.
This week, we spotlight Erin Wistein.
Q. What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A. Working with the customers.
Q.What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
A. Opening a new store is challenging.
Q. What would be your dream job, and in what part of the world would you be working?
A. I've been doing this six years and I'm pretty sure I'm really happy here. I had a lot of jobs I didn't like, and today I still wake up every day excited to go to work. It's my sixth or seventh store too, so I've been moving around a bit.
Q. What's the best way to relax after a tough day?
A. Taking my shoes off when I get home.
Q. What do you like most about living and/or working in the Finger Lakes region?
A. It's really pretty here, amazingly beautiful and it reminds me a lot of home.
Q. If you had the choice of meeting any three people in the world who would they be, and why?
A. Marilyn Monroe, because I'd want to know what happened. BJ Armstrong, a basketball player in the '90s, because I was in love with him when I was younger. And Abraham Lincoln.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A. As a regional manager, I just don't know where.
Q. If you were to win the lottery tomorrow, what#'s the first thing you'd do?
A. Buy a car, a really nice one too.
Q. What would people who think they know you be most surprised to find out about you?
A. That I have a tattoo.
Q. If you were mayor or supervisor of your town/city, what#'s the first thing you'd change?
A. I haven't seen a lot of parks here. Parks that aren't school parks that kids can go to any time. I'm not sure if I'm not seeing them or if they aren't there. So I'd make more parks.
