Q. What is the most rewarding part of being a student? Why?

A. Knowing that when you're finished, you have done a good job and can be proud of your accomplishments.

Q. What is the most challenging aspect of being a student?

A. Keeping up with the work while balancing everything else going on in your life.

Q. What is the part of your day you could do without?

A. Getting up in the morning. I am not a morning person whatsoever.

Q. What's the best food item served in your cafeteria?

A. I don't usually buy from the school cafeteria. I stick with chips from the machines or walk to McDonald's if I get too hungry.

Q. If you had to grade your own performance as a student, what letter grade would you give yourself? Why?

A. I would give myself a B+. I try very hard in school, but I know that I always have room for improvement.

Q. What do you do to try to get on a teacher's good side?

A. I don't try to get on a teacher's good side. I am friendly with them like I am with anyone else and just hope that they like me.

Q. What is the funniest question you have ever asked a teacher?

A. I don't think I have asked any funny questions, but they might have a different opinion.

Q. School year: Too short, too long or just right? Why?

A. Just right. The long Christmas vacation and the ability to make your class schedule the way you want it helps a lot.

Q. When you finish school, what would you like to do?

A. I would eventually like to either work for a large company or run my own business, but I am not sure exactly what type of business.

Q. Fill in the blank. I have the toughest time in my _______ class. Why?

A. Biology. I am better at problem-solving than I am facts.

Q. Fill in the blank. The best teacher I ever had was _______ because _________.

A. Ms. Flanagan, my psychology teacher, because she had an excellent way of teaching, was encouraging and made the class enjoyable at the same time.

Q. What are you most looking forward to this school year?

A. I am looking forward to graduating at the end of this year and moving on to a four-year college.
