Every U.S. senator that votes for or supports L.O.S.T will be admitting their guilt of treason, and should face a firing squad. LOST will turn over complete control of America to the U.N.
The Cato Town Board triplets refused to tell people at two meetings of four hours why they hated the Meridian Fire Department and now they send a carefully worded letter to cover themselves and beg for votes. Do they take the whole town as idiots and sure hope my tax dollars didn't pay for the mailing?

With all this funding coming to the college, could dorms be in the future? Will we create a real college atmosphere or just find another excuse to maintain the old “commuter” image ?

Tim Lattimore is one of the hardest working mayors we've ever had. He cares about and promotes Auburn tirelessly.

I think that only a blood-thirsty terrorist would deny water, one of life's most basic needs, to his people.

Correction: Neither the American Staffordshire Terrier nor other dogs are vicious menace by nature. Dogs that do fight are trained and forced to do so by disgusting demented people like Michael Vick.

In Thursday's paper was a statement that the majority of Cato citizens agree with the town board about the Meridian Fire Department. I was wondering where they got that information because I live in Cato and no one asked me or my neighbors.

" Did you also spell "to" wrong intentionally? Why don't we settle the water bill thing the easy way? The city can supply all water to all citizens for free and the taxpayers can pay the bill. Then no one will have their water shut off. Then you bleeding hearts can rest peacefully. "

" I would like to give a sincere thanks to the gentleman who assisted me with a ride on routes 5/20 after my vehicle broke down in the rain. I would also like to thank members of cayuga county who came out to support our troops as they returned to Auburn. On a more sarcastic note. A sincere thank you to the Auburn police officers who cruised by me while I was waiting for help in the pouring rain. I hope those cell phone calls you were so deeply involved with were important. There is a real hypocrisy when it comes to cell phone use in vehicles. "

" To clarify 911 is not what I was referring, I personally knew 9 people killed and 3 seriously injured in Kobar Towers, then there was the attack on the USS Cole. And to oldtimer who says we pay our service members to fight, that's absolutely hilarious!!! You do know that our young service members qualify for food stamps because we pay them so much!!! It's real easy to sit and judge when you don't have to look into the faces of these people every day and watch as their families say goodbye not knowing if they'll see their love one again. If there is anyone who has the right to complain about this war it's them, but you know what I don't hear any of this crap from them because as I said they are honorable men and women who live up to their word whether they agree or disagree. "

" There are actually people out here who don't have cable and never had (haven't even had TV since I was 16). But there have been times when I couldn't afford to pay a water bill. For safety and sanitary reasons, most communities are not allowed to turn off water to a residence. "

" hmmm.tough choices--does one pay their cable bill or their water bill? Judge Corning once said "cable is a luxury" so I guess one best pay their water bill ..so they won't die! "

" To Gators post yesterday regarding troops, #1: I/we are not idiots, and #2: no one was implying that "service members are a bunch of idealistic idiots who blindly follow orders for the heck of it". But of ALLLL the things that could have been done "after their brothers and sisters who were killed or injured by terrorist when we weren't at war", aka 911 - why on earth did we invade a foreign country that had nothing to do w/who was responsible. For all the backers of this overpriced (dollar & life) war, wasn't there another way instead of following a hillbillie's rath and greed for oil money? "

" Why is everyone so against the water company shutting ones water off if they don't pay their bill? If you pay don't your electric bill-they turn you off! If you don't pay your cable-they turn you off! If you don't pay your credit cards-they cancle your card! If you don't pay your car loan-they repo your car! So why shouldn't the water company shut off your water if you don't pay??? "

" I am definitely not agreeing to the ravings of a luna tick but I have a clue about the Treaty and I must say I do have concerns. So please enlightened me as to how this treaty would benefit the US. The U.S. would have only one vote of 140 – and no veto power as it has on the U.N. Security Council. Elisabeth Borgese, one of the main authors of LOST not only admired Karl Marx but was an ardent advocate of the Marxist-oriented New International Economic Order. In her book she approvingly cites Karl Marx, the father of communism, as someone with "amazing foresight" about the problems faced by urban and rural societies. So please Karl enlighten away. "
