Spears regains visitation rights for her sons
Britney Spears has regained temporary visitation rights of her sons, her attorney said Sunday.

“Yes, she has visitation with the children,” her lawyer, Anne Kiley, said in an e-mail to The Associated Press without elaborating.

Spears was spotted driving with the boys, Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, on Saturday in the San Fernando Valley, People magazine reported on its Web site.

A presumed court-appointed monitor was in the passenger seat of the white Mercedes convertible, and her sons were in the back seat, the magazine reported.

Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon had told Spears on Wednesday that she could not visit her two young children without a parenting coach present until she complies with a court order.

The mandate did not spell out what directives Spears failed to comply with.

Among other things, Gordon ordered her to undergo random weekly drug testing, citing evidence that Spears engaged in “habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol.”

A hearing on the matter was scheduled for Oct. 26.

Copperfield's lawyer denies allegations

Days after FBI agents searched a Las Vegas warehouse belonging to David Copperfield and a casino theater where the magician regularly performs, his lawyer rebutted an allegation that Copperfield “forced himself” on a woman.

“An unidentified woman has made serious allegations against David Copperfield,” lawyer David Chesnoff said Friday in a statement.

“It is important these allegations be put into perspective,” Chesnoff said. “Although authorities have not revealed her identity to us, we know these allegations are false because David Copperfield has never forced himself on anyone.”

Neither Chesnoff nor law enforcement officials would provide details about the allegation or the warehouse search.

Seattle FBI agent Robbie Burroughs said Thursday that the Las Vegas investigation was part of a Seattle case.

Smith to film another movie in Pittsburgh

Kevin Smith, who has written, directed and acted in several films, including the comedies “Clerks” and “Chasing Amy,” said he plans to shoot another comedy in Pittsburgh.

Smith wrote on the blog viewaskew.com that he would film “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” in Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Sunday. Smith filmed “Dogma” in the city in 1998.

Smith said that he may announce the film's cast in the next two weeks, and that he expected filming to take about 40 days.
