Two people died in a one-car crash in Elbridge on Sunday night in which the vehicle caught on fire.
State police said the accident occurred at about 7:38 p.m. on Kester Road. A pickup truck heading south drifted off the west shoulder.
The vehicle then struck a concrete culvert and then a tree before coming to a stop on the driver's side, state police said.
The pickup truck then caught on fire, state police said.
Jordan Fire Department personnel responded and put out the fire. At that point, two unidentified victims were found. State police are working to identify those victims.
