Cato voters should make voices heard

Voters in Cato and Meridian make sure you get out and vote. Why should two board members - Mr. Dennison and Mrs. Chapman - have so much influence on what is good for the people and taxpayers of Meridian and Cato. They have too many personal reasons driving them and are not thinking about the taxpayers of their community.

Strip them of their power now before they can do any more damage.

" The letter I received the other day explained the reasons for the board voting not to renew the Meridian Fire Departments contract. It also said who would be taking over the uncovered areas of responsibilities for fire response. However, the one thing that was missing was what the cost was for the Meridian fire department to cover these areas and what the new cost of the new departments will be for the same areas? Are we paying the same, more or less? As a tax payer this I want to know. As a home owner, I have insurance. "
