One of the largest realty transactions of the week was consummated through the realty office of A.W. Evans of this city, when Austin P. Williams of Weedsport, sold his farm to Mrs. Julia A. Smith, of Auburn. The 45-acre farm is known as the Gialey Farm.

AUBURN - The Auburn school board tonight is expected to schedule Dec. 17 for the public vote on a $36,000 land deal. The district wants to buy roughly an acre at Perrine and Pulaski streets to ease traffic congestion around Casey Park Elementary School. Closing costs could raise the price, but the deal can go no higher than $39,000, according to school officials.

AUBURN - The latest display at the Cayuga County Historian's office is “Scrapbooking: Then and Now,” curated by Laurel Auchampaugh. There are World War II scrapbooks and family books, as well as a teacher's collection chronicling 22 years of classroom teaching from 1979 to the present.
