The Union Springs boys soccer team was able to score two goals in the second half to defeat Auburn on Satrday.
The score was even at one at the half as Wolves sophomore Nick Shrimpton scored early. Also scoring for Union Springs were captain Mike Howell and Eric Hylwa. Robert Ferro finished with eight saves in the net.
The Maroons lone goal came from Brenden Burke, and Kaleb Brown recorded 10 saves.
“It was a pretty spirited game for a non-league game.” Union Springs coach Jim Hodges said.
The Wolves (2-11-2) host Southern Cayuga, Tuesday.
