Videos from the televised local election debates sponsored by Cayuga Community College and Time Warner Cable are now available at The Citizen's Web site, www.auburnpub.com.

Last week's debates now posted to the site involved candidates for Cayuga County Legislature Districts 7 and 8.
APD union backs Budelmann's run
Auburn police officers are backing Jon Budelmann in the race for Cayuga County District Attorney.
In a letter dated Sept. 24, the Auburn Police Officers Local 195 endorsed Budelmann for the upcoming election. Budelmann, the Republican candidate, is currently the county's chief assistant district attorney. He is running against Michael Bass.
Meeting to outline local bridge work
The state Department of Transportation will host a public meeting from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 at the Genoa Town Hall, 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa, to present information, solicit input and answer questions about a proposed project to replace two bridges on Route 90 - one in the village of Aurora crossing Paine's Creek, and one in the town of Genoa crossing Little Salmon Creek.
