Most of the 17,000 reserved seats for the World's Series game at White Sox park were distributed today. A record of each ticket sold has been kept and with this the club officials hope to stamp out ticket scalping.

Frank Carbonaro recently received his degree in Pharmacy at Columbia University and passed examinations of the New York State Board of Pharmacy. He will be connected with the Carbonaro Drug Company, in the capacity of manager of the retail division.

Cayuga Community College will seek approval from the Cayuga County Legislature to secure the services of a State University of New York (SUNY) Central Administration facilities planning team. This team would work in concert with the college to assess the college's physical plant and form a facilities master plan. The plan would be used to guide expansion of Cayuga's facilities in Auburn and Fulton.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has introduced a bill that would bring $50 million in federal support over five years for efforts to protect and enhance the Finger Lakes. The Finger Lakes
Initiative Act of 2002 would create a federal, state, regional and local alliance to address conservation and economic development issues facing the Finger Lakes.
