In other news:
- The Chapel House Homeless Shelter in Auburn continues to make great progress, and with the help of the entire community, is planning to open in early November in the Holy Family School building. Many thanks to everyone who gave so generously at the mattress and blanket drive last weekend. Very special thanks to all the students at East and West Middle schools in Mrs. Kristen Redmond-Bartolotta's class who brought in their blankets for the homeless. God bless you all for your kindness.
Our greatest need for these first few months is night workers in any increment of time. Many thanks to all of you who have already signed up to help.
The only requirement is a caring heart; training will be provided. Eventually we hope to obtain enough funding for some paid night staff. If you can help, please e-mail me at deniseb132@yahoo.com, call John at 515-0703 or Rich at 252-6470.
Have a great week and enjoy this cool autumn weather. And remember always, God loves you so much.
“Christ has no body now, but yours. No hands, no feet on earth, but yours. Yours are the eyes through which Christ looks compassion into the world. Yours are the feet with which Christ walks to do good. Yours are the hands with which Christ blesses the world.”
