The City Council is working on an evaluation of City Manager Jeff Towery. The councilors chose an evaluation form Thursday. A reworking of the form, used by Towery's previous employer in Cottage Grove, Ore., covers such areas as administration organization, finance and budgeting and community relations. Towery started working in Auburn this spring, and the council is required to perform an annual evaluation of his work.

Shortly after a developer talked at Auburn Golf & Country Club about how the Destiny USA shopping and entertainment complex in Syracuse would change central New York more than any project since the Erie Canal 200 years ago, hopefuls arrived at the Job Fair Wednesday at the Holiday Inn looking for opportunities.
