NEW YORK - Two New Jersey men are accused of stealing, or trying to steal, money from Mayor Michael Bloomberg's personal bank accounts.
Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau says the banks first notified his office about the situation in August.
One is now awaiting a Manhattan court appearance.
He's accused of trying to steal $420,000 from two Bloomberg accounts with forged checks.
The other, who's awaiting extradition, is accused of actually stealing $10,000.
