GOUVERNEUR - A 30-year-old man and his 4-year-old son were killed in two-vehicle accident, state police said Tuesday.
James Reeve and his son, also named James, were pronounced dead at E.J. Noble Hospital in Gouverneur after the accident, which happened at about 8 p.m. Monday on Route 11.
Amanda Reeve, 27, and the couple's 6-year-old daughter, Angelina, were injured but survived the crash.
The girl was treated at the Gouverneur hospital and released. Amanda Reeve was taken to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Her condition was not immediately available.
Troopers said Kramer Weaver, 17, of Gouverneur was traveling south on the rural highway when his vehicle partially entered the other lane and struck the Reeve's oncoming car.
Weaver was treated at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown and released.
The cause of the crash was under investigation, troopers said.
