The Auburn girls tennis team shut out Corcoran, 7-0 on Tuesday to improve to 8-2 on the year.
Led by Claire Minnoe in first singles (6-1, 6-0), Delaney Scollan in second singles (6-0, 6,0), and in third singles Hailey Roth (6-2, 6-1).
In first doubles, Emily Mastropietro and Katie Searing won (6-3, 6-0), in second doubles Palak Patel and Aiswarya Irri won (6-4, 6-3), in third doubles Kara Mariano and Amy Farinelli won (6-4, 6-0), and Sam and Jamie Bruno won fourth doubles (6-1, 6-0).
Auburn hosts Fayetteville-Manlius today.
FIELD HOCKEY
Ticonderoga 3, Southern Springs 1
Southern Springs' lone goal came from Stephanie Myer. Southern Springs had one penalty shot, and two shot on goals.
Katie Smith had three saves.
Weedsport 3, Port Byron 1
The Blue Devils goals came from Sharra Brentlinger, Allison Beardsley, and Amy Sanchez. Kaitlin Hammersley had five saves for the Blue Devils.
The Panthers goalie Julie Janusz had nine saves.

Kelly Hunter had 21 saves in goals for the Blue Devils.
Moravia 1, Marathon 2
The Blue Devils only goal came from Haley Potter. Ashley Shea had 16 saves for Moravia.

The Blue Devils Jason Phillips (18:32) placed first for the boys. Joe Grobelny took eighth place (19:06), and Adam Wiethuechter came in 29th (22:20).

Southern Springs' Evan Bassett finished in fourth (14:16), Alex Schmitt came in fifth (14:40), Corey Field took ninth (14:58), Marshall Greer came in tenth (15:03), and Matt Cuff finished 14th (15:14).

Southern Springs came in second place. Mary Miller led the way, finishing fourth (18:06), Michelle Wilmot came in sixth (18:22), Meg Rindfleisch finished in ninth (19:20), Molly O' Hara took 12th (20:03), and Casey Emmett finished in 13th (20:10).

The Eagles goal came early in their loss from Fabian Caspersen. Ryan Barrigar had the assist and Eli Grauman had 11 saves for the Eagles.

The Maroons' two goals came by Laura Taylor, both in the second half. Caitlyn Mitchell had an assist and Virginia Porten had four saves for the Maroons. Also playing well for the Maroons was Rachael Applebee, and Shannon McCormick.
Auburn improves to 10-2 and they host Fayetteville-Manlius Tuesday.

The Wolves' Alyssa Dean led the team with two goals. Alexa Schooley, and Jaimi Jones each scored a goal and had an assist.
Kati Stolz, Monica Sacco, and Amanda Cuff each scored a goal for the Wolves. Michaela Hares, Katie Foster, and Kristen Foster collected an assist each.
Deven Gary and Lindsey Artman combined for the shutout with three saves.
The Wolves improve to 9-3, and 6-0 on the year.

Scoring the Eagles' lone goal was Tia Segretto. Sarah Fordyce had 21 saves for the Eagles.
