This week the council will hear the first reading of a resolution to change parking regulations on Lansing Street. It would change the restrictions on the south side of Lansing Street. It would go from no parking from Nelson to Holley Streets to no parking from Nelson to North Fulton Streets.

The Cayuga County Healthy Heart Coalition is encouraging parents to walk their kids to school on Wednesday. Coalition coordinator Ed Lauckern, a former mayor of Auburn and a longtime local radio personality says the program has been organized to focus attention on the value of physical activity, “not only for the kids but for the adults as well.”
