AUBURN - Citing service “above and beyond the call,”
the Auburn school board awarded $10,000 to Associate Superintendent Philip Grajko during Tuesday's meeting. The board voted 6-1 to give Grajko, who earns $76,250 a year, the one-time stipend for duty as acting superintendent from March 17 until June 30 while Superintendent William Miller recovered from a heart ailment.

AUBURN - County Court Judge Peter Corning wants
Family Court to move onto the second floor of the Historic Post Office and Courthouse building after the County Legislature moves back across Genesee Street from its temporary location
in the old landmark. When the Legislature meets, members will consider Corning's space request. The county's Public Works Committee approved the matter, when it reviewed the resolution in which Corning said the third floor of the County Courthouse has become too cramped, especially for Family Court.
