Over the course of the summer, the FLAGS at the Frontenac series has drawn upward of 100 people to its musical performances for its first year.
“(The series) has been very well received and the musical performances seemed to be the best attended,” said Pat Kimber, president of the board of directors of the Frontenac Museum historical society.

The shows were so well received, that next year the planning committee will focus solely on music.

For the fifth and final installment of this year's FLAGS series will arrive Saturday carrying a Latin beat when Cubanana will perform at the Union Springs location.

Kimber said they heard of the Latin American duo from Stroudsberg, Pa., through the Young Artists of Rochester organization.

“They will perform Latin American salsa and Cuban song,” Kimber said. “They're highly energetic and really get into the audience experience. It is something that will appeal to all ages.”
