The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill will travel to the area this month.
The company's largest touring grill will be here from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sept. 15; and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at the Bass Pro Shops in the Fingerlakes Mall in Aurelius.
The barbecue weighs more than 53,000 pounds and is 65 feet long.
It contains a prep station, a refrigeration unit, and has hot and cold running water.
It can cook 750 bratwurst at once, with a dozen chiefs working side by side.
Proceeds from sales at the grill benefit local charities and nonprofit organizations. The Big Taste Grill has raised more than $2 million for charities across North America.
The grill was created in 1995 in honor of the company's 50th anniversary.
It has since traveled to countless cities, fairs, festivals and special events.
