NAUBURN - Judge Mark Fandrich told three Pennsylvania men he hopes never to see them in Cayuga County again. Edward Wilber, Jonathan Hollister, and Chad Ramey faced Fandrich Tuesday in Cayuga County Court to receive sentencing for stealing anhydrous ammonia from a local farm.
The men went on a farm and stole the chemical to make methamphetamine.
Wilber, 40, received two to four years in state prison, with the possibility to undergo drug treatment, for charges of fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, and third-degree criminal trespassing. Wilber's last known address is 29 Chenango St. in Montrose, Pa.
Hollister, 31, received one year in Cayuga County jail for the charge of fourth-degree grand larceny for stealing the chemical. Hollister's last address is RR4, PO. 173, Montrose, Pa.
Ramey, 26, received one year in jail for the fourth-degree charge of grand larceny.
All men have to pay $270 in restitution for damage to the farm's fencing.
