Pick six: Doubledays win division title
AUBURN - Leading the division has been a constant for the Auburn Doubledays since July 5, but on Saturday, it became official.
The Doubledays are Pinckney Division champs once again.
For those keeping track, that's six in a row, all under manager Dennis Holmberg. But unlike the last couple seasons, the Doubledays weren't playing catch up, they didn't have to get hot in August and they certainly didn't need to rely on the other five Pinckney division teams to lose.
