BUFFALO - Fresh off a star-studded weekend fundraiser with his candidate wife on Martha's Vineyard, former President Bill Clinton continued collecting money for her presidential run Monday during a low-key, solo tour of upstate New York.
In Albany, Rochester and Buffalo, donors of $1,000 or more to Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign were invited to private receptions with the former president, while those contributing $50 could attend a larger gathering.
The senator, meanwhile, was New Orleans-bound to mark the second anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
All of Bill Clinton's upstate fundraisers were off-limits to the media, in contrast to Saturday's Massachusetts event where cameras snapped the Clintons and daughter, Chelsea, as money flowed from celebrities.
