SYRACUSE - Two teenagers were charged Wednesday with murdering a 30-year-old man during a robbery.
Carmen Watts, 16, and Shameer Williams, 17, both of Syracuse, were charged with second-degree murder as adults in the shooting death of Ratrell Jones.
Jones died Monday at Community General Hospital after driving himself to the hospital early Friday morning with two gunshot wounds to the abdomen.
Senior Assistant District Attorney Robert Duncanson said Williams is accused of shooting Jones two times in the left side of his torso. Watts is accused of firing a gun, missing the victim, but striking the center console of Jones' car.
Both were arraigned before City Judge Vanessa Bogan and ordered held without bail pending a preliminary hearing Monday.
