Auburn Public Theater will again be hosting another musical great.
Peter Mack, playing the acoustic bass, will wow audiences with his “Pure Jazz,” guaranteed to move the soul of the most determined skeptic of the genre.
According to a press release Mack has put together a dynamic sextet utilizing two of Auburn's own: David CasTiglione, on tenor saxaphone, and Chris Persad, on the trumpet, for a night of hard-hitting jazz.
Harvey Sorgen, on the drums, and Pete Levin, on the piano, will make a trip from New York City to perform, and Joe Carello, Syracuse's top saxman, will round out the group for the night.
