Those in power are not representing the people

If you the people of this community want things to change, you must vote for those who can make a difference! The people of this city feel that no matter who gets in, it won't make a difference because of all the corrupt things that go on within the Democrat Party and their connection to others. Some also feel that these people that are the commissioners won't let anyone like me win. They feel that I was allowed to run so that there wouldn't be a thing with racism and that this city is controlled by those that are presently in seats. If I was or am allowed to run in the primary Sept. 18, they would only say I was not one of those that the people voted for, so that I won't be in the election Nov. 6, for the reason of keeping those that play ball on their team.
I don't know if that is a true factor, but I know this one thing: I am for the people and the people are for me.

The time for truth is long overdue, and the truth is, I stand for what is right, by the people as well as for the people.

Take for instance why on earth were the people charged to use Emerson Park for TomatoFest? Every year the proceeds go to different agencies to help those that are less fortunate than others. The park closes on Sept. 3, TomatoFest is on the 8th! Years ago, I was told that there was never to be a charge for anything held at Emerson Park. So what's with that?

For the poor, Auburn will never be quite the same as long as there are those in offices that think about only themselves and their group of elites. There are a little over 6,000 Democrats in this city. If you want fairness, then I am here to tell you I am for fairness for all. Vote for me in September and remove those that should have left 15 years ago. I don't want the job because I'm better than they are, I believe in the right thing.

I don't have the funds to fund my campaign like the others running in this race, so I'm asking for donations from the public. Any donations, please send to Morgan and Mildred Boyce, 76 Orchard St., Auburn, NY 13021. Thank you very much.

" There are flashes of brillance in the editorial written by Cherry. Unfortunately, only brief incoherent flashes of brillance interlaced into some rambling preelection excuse for her imminent defeat. "

" Now why would a political candidate bring up something like they allowed her to run so they couldnt say there would be an issue with racism. Cherry dearie, you just should keep your mouth shut sometimes. A good candidate would never use that to influence voters. "

" Good grief, are you kidding me = give it a break...enough of this blah blah blah already, who writes this stuff for her. Some one who wouldn't know the right thing if it fell across her face. "
