We Americans love our cars, but some of our cars are more beloved than others. Take Charlie Curran, for instance. The Underwood Street resident has a special place in his heart for Ford Fairlanes. American automobiles represent our modern, mobile life and more. One sure way to turn heads is to cruise down the street in a custom or vintage set of wheels. Whether it's the gleam of the chrome, the purr of the engine, a hunger for speed or the sexy curves of a finned chassis, the allure of a classic American car transcends gender, culture and generation gaps. For Charlie Curran, his fast-lane fascination focuses on the 1960s line of Ford Fairlanes.
