AUBURN - Still reeling over what they deem a lack of respect, a group of parents, grandparents and community members have listed their demands of the Booker T. Washington Center's board of directors. The group presented a list of 10 demands signed by 42 people at Thursday's board meeting. It asked for a written response to each concern in writing.

AUBURN - Some $1.2 million from the federal government will help four Cayuga County school districts identify elementary students with potential mental-health problems and treat them before they become an issue in the classroom. The three-year grant was awarded to the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Partnership program by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
