For the second straight game, the Auburn Doubledays received a dazzling performance from its starter. But this time, the bullpen couldn't seal the deal.

Marc Rzepczynski struck out 10 and allowed two runs in six innings of work, but Adam Rogers blew the save, allowing the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as the Brooklyn Cyclones defeated the Doubledays 4-3 on Friday.

Auburn scored its only runs in the fifth inning, courtesy of a Baron Frost two-run double and a Ben Zeskind RBI single.

Zeskind, Frost, Adam Calderone and Steve Condotta managed the only hits for the Doubledays who have lost three of four.

Brooklyn pitchers struck out 11.

Steve Cheney got the win in relief.

The Doubledays (29-22) play the second in a three-game series today in Brooklyn.
