Nick Price and Andrew Sanders held Byrn's to just three hits as Giuseppes rolled to a 7-4 victory in a second round Auburn Babe Ruth League playoff game.

Zach LaDouce had three hits, including two doubles. Sanders got out of a bases-loaded jam in the fifth inning and finished with eight strikeouts.

Also adding to Giuseppes' offense was Tim Daniels (two hits), Matt Patterson and Price.

Tim Locastro pitched a complete game six-hitter for Byrn's. Offensively, Byrn's was led by Justin Lyndacker, Connor Kilmer and Eric Guyle.

APD 5, ACU 4

Pete Sigona had two doubles, Nate Kayn doubled and each Joel Handley, Brendon Raftix, Gavin Gleason and Brett Lawrence each had hits for ACU.

Gleason and Kayn split pitching duties.

For APD, Brendan Bozak, Chris Catino, Matt Festa and Chris Anderson each had two hits. Catino, Bozak and Anderson pitched.

PONY LEAGUE

Bouleys 6, Lil Giants 4

Steven Desimone had three hits and Connor Teneyk had two hits to lead Bouleys. Desimone finished with six strikeouts.

For Lil Giants, Luke Boedecker (double) had two hits, Nico Lupo tripled and each Hunter Charles, Jordan Serling and Joe Messina had doubles.

Jordan Serling, Micah Quigley and Cole Bowen combined for nine strikeouts.

BOYS AND GIRLS LEAGUE

Tru-Cut Technology Orioles 18, Auburn Fire Fighters 15

Elijah Lincoln racked up six RBIs for the Orioles, while Gregory Baumes Kaleb Fasce, Dylan Carnicelli, Leah Van Ostrand and Trenton Quinn had two RBIs each. Clay Van Ostrand had a double and an RBI, while Paige Lincoln, Zachary Stanton and Kaelyn Stanton added three hits each.

Hunter Duger led the defense. Reagan Graney and Daniel Baumes also had three hits and played well on defense.

The Royals were led by David Hickey, who had a home run. Buck Haines, Alex Haines and Sydney Wilson led the defense and were led by Tyler Ely.
