The John Sparks circus has come and gone. It was a good,
clean show and well patronized at both performances. A
resident of King Ferry, who came to see the circus was arrested for boisterous conduct in the street.

Eight automatic flashing signal lights and three automatic
signal gates, are now being installed at a local crossing by the New York Central Railroad at a cost of approximately $60,000. Earl M. Stewart is the Auburn agent of the central system.

Even though flames were shooting far from the front of a home at 56 Seymour St., a man driving by was able to see the fire, and ultimately assist a woman who was in an upstairs bedroom sleeping. There were no injuries.
