Seneca Cayuga tourney is success
Nearly $20,000 was raised at the Seneca Cayuga ARC 10th Annual Golf Tournament earlier this month at Highland Park Golf Club.
Mike Kozanitis, Chris Swietoniowski, Mike Donovan and Jeff Guzalak took first in the scratch division while Tom Bolak, Ron Howe, Russ DeForest and Kevin Beverine won the handicap division.
The women's longest drive was won by Marcia Taylor and closest-to-the-pin honors was taken by Rose Palmieri.
Guzalak won the men's longest drive competition while Swietoniowski won closest-to-the-pin. Tom Mallon won the longest putt contest.
Bobby Hoey golf tourney is Aug. 8
The 44th annual Bobby Hoey Golf Tournament will be held at 9 a.m. on Aug. 8 at Dutch Hollow Country Club.
Entry fee is $10 and includes a lunch.

Sportsmen Club hosting tourney
The Falcon Sportsmen Club is hosting its annual golf tournament at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 9 at the Millstone Golf Course. Competing teams must consist of four people, and the number of teams is limited to 36. The cost to register a team is $240. Payment is due by August 28.

The Cayuga County Arts Council is selling tickets to a PGA Tour Event to be held at the Turning Stone Resort from Sept. 17 to 23.

AAU sponsoring golf tournament
The AAU Basketball Golf Tournament will be held at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 19 at the Lakeview Golf and Country Club.
The cost to register a team is $260. The tournament will help raise money for next year's AAU Basketball team.
There will also be a party immediately following the tournament at Daut's Restaurant. Applications are currently available at Daut's.
