McLaughlin Glass pours it on in win over Springside

AUBURN - Connor Entenmann scored 19 goals as McLaughlin Glass defeated Springside Inn 33-20 in an Auburn Box Lacrosse game on Tuesday.
Sean Hogan added eight goals, Brad Murdoc had five and Mike McLaughin chipped in one.

For Springside, Kare Saunders led with eight goals, Nick Basile and Mike Tesorin each scored four, Ryan Cuddy had three and Mital Patel added one.

Mike Villano scored four goals as Tinkers topped Johnston Paper 2, 18-14. Jim Mizro added three goals and John Mizro, Mike Mancini, Mike McKay, Bill Ashby and Nick Musso each scored two goals. Joe Villano added a goal.

Mark Green had 14 saves in goal.

For Johnston Paper 2, Ryan Lewis led with six goals. Kevin Hogan contributed three goals, Adam Hansinger and Sean Hogan each had two goals and Mike Tracy scored one. Frank DiMora had 10 saves in goal.

Bob Branigan led with eight goals as Johnston Paper 1 downed the Shockers 21-14. Matt Hoey added five goals, Matt Festa had four and Andrew Chadderdon and Chris Clifford each scored two.

Steve Dec paced the Shooters with six goals. Jason Teeter added three goals and Nick Herlihy, Andrew Fronczek, Toly Capocefalo, Dawson Cougar and Chris Porten each scored a goal.

In overtime, Yantch Plastics and Studio edged Bo-Mer/4M Precision 17-16. Matt Chadderdon led the winners with seven goals, Joe Taylor and Brian Hoey each had three goals, Carl Festa chipped in with two and Derek Anderson and Craig Anderson had a goal apiece.

Chris Daly, Greg Daly, Jake Conway and John Manro each scored four goals for Bo-Mer.

Girls Box Lacrosse

Katie Carbonaro led with eight goals and four assists as Fingerlakes Karate edged out Johnston Paper 23-22. Leanne Musso contributed six goals and five assists, Andrea Musso and Britany Rabuano each had four goals and an assist. Robyn Clary added a goal. Heather Ely had 16 saves in goal.

For Johnston Paper, Leigh Downing had six goals and an assist. Kate Aldrich scored five goals and Allison Villavo added four goals and an assist. Shannon Lattimore had three goals and three assists, Sarah May chipped in two goals and Caitlin Leone (assist) and Nichole Clark each had a goal. Jolynn Brewer had 13 saves in goal.

The Printery beat Springside Inn 13-10 as Bridgette Cool (two assists), Meghan Sierzenga and Katie Shaw (assist) each scored three goals. Lauren Walsh (four assists) and Stephanie Donegan each had two goals. Heather Ely had 15 saves in goal.

For the Springside, Abby Valentino had four goals and Kim Winslow and Chelsea Winslow each had two goals. Jade Williams (assist) and Alaina Schoonmaker each scored a goal. Mark Green had 18 saves in goal.

Lascas defeated Landmark Enterprises 15-9 as Toni Scollan (assist) and Nikkie Schattinger each had three goals. Delaney Scollan, Alisha Brooks and Sara Scollan (assist) each had two outs. Janielle Viggiano, Christine DeSocio and Ashley Casper each had a goal. Jolynn Brewer had 12 saves in goal.

For Landmark, Kaylee Petrosino and Brittany Farrugia each had two goals, Rianne Farrugia, Terri George, Jamie Handley and Kim Neagle each scored a goal and Breanna Handley added an assist. Heather Ely had 10 saves in goal.
