Breeze scores three goals, lifts Brazil over Hungary

Michaela Breeze scored three goals as Brazil knocked off Hungary 4-3 in overtime in an Auburn Arsenal playoff soccer game on Monday.
Stephanie Milewski scored the other goal for Brazil while Casey Cuthbert and Meghan Ryan had assists.

For Hungary, Anna Spin had a goal and an assist, Alayna Slayton and Julie Disanto each scored and Brigid Sabine had one assist.

Iceland 3, Italy 1

Brooke Whitman scored twice, Devin Guinnip had one goal and one assist and Haley Mae Ferris had one assist for Iceland.

Celina Rescott scored for Italy and Marissa Roe assisted. Anna Cuthbert played well in goal and Kaylee Fallat led the defense.

North Carolina 3, Dolphins 1

Sydney Fallat scored twice, Anna Sabine scored once and played well defensively and Emma Butler had one assist in the win.

Kennedy Wilson scored for the Dolphins who were also led by Owyn Guinnip and Julia Wagner.

Pirates 3, Cortland 2

Ailise Bartolotta scored twice, Kaylee Mohan had a goal and an assist and Alivia Wolf led the Pirates defensively.

For Cortland, Alexandra Mitchell scored two goals and Lindsay May had one assist.

Princeton 2, Miami 1

Olivia Amoia and Macey Wilson each scored while Brooke Stevens assisted for Princeton. Taylor O'Hickey also led the offense.

Julia Rescott provided the goal for Miami.

FINGERLAKES MINOR SOCCER LEAGUE

SQUIRT DIVISION

Vitale Ready Mix 1, Bre-Cole Heating and Air Conditioning 0

David Butler scored for Vitale while Diego Canales had two saves.

Leading the defense was Haleigh Reese, Hannah Butler, Matt VanWyckhouse, Ali Club and Lexi Vitale.

For Bre-Cole, Paige Marshall had one save and the defense was led by Nicole Soutar and Kasey Relfe.

Colby Real Estate 3, AFCU 1

Mitch Fanning, Molly Merrill and Matt VanLiew each scored for Colby. Alexa Smalley had one save, Cameron Morris had two and VanLiew and Fanning played well defensively.

For AFCU, Jack Boyd scored and Julia Rescott, Payton Charles and Bryant Samuels led the defense. Dominic Napolitano, Caitlin Lowing and Josh Cuddy played in goal for AFCU.

ATOM DIVISION

Wachovia Securities 3, AFCU 2

Emma Blodgett and scored twice and Mark Trupiano scored once for Wachovia. Jacob Charles had an assist, Meghan Delaney had five saves and Alex Burtless had two saves.

Leading the defense was Nick Carr, Aileen mack and Kaelyn Townsend.

AFCU was led by Danny Netti (two goals).

SENIOR DIVISION

Byrn Trophy 2, Cranebrook Tree Service 1

Derrick Hansen scored both goals for Byrn while Jake DeChick had an assist. Nick Silcox had 12 saves and the defense was led by Johny Bos and Jesse Schooley.

Leading Cranebrook was Cody Phair (one goal), Adam Cadwallader (eight saves) and Zach Morrisette (seven saves).
