Will anyone take responsibility for Iraq war?

Tuesday, July 24, 2007 10:49 AM EDT

When we pull out of Iraq and bloody chaos follows, will anyone be held responsible? No, of course not. There will be talk, talk, talk. Jane Fonda's response will not be adequate: “We shouldn't have been there in the first place.” Nor will our elected representatives nor will we ourselves be held responsible.
If we had left the Taliban alone in Afghanistan, and if we had left Saddam Hussein alone in Iraq, everything would be fine.

And when we pull out of Iraq everything will be fine, or so the knowledgeable ones say. The terrorists will see how realistic and rational we are and stop their demonic murderous ways.

I think that an erroneous judgment. What I hear is, “Death of America!” and “Israel must be wiped off the map.”

And I hear, “let us be glad and rejoice beloved. We have bloodied the face of the great Satan and sent him cowering back to his kennel!” - Jusef Qtub bin Zawastani.

" Sorry to break the bubble Karl Bill speaks the truth. Hide the heads in the sand long enough. The rest of the body dies. "
