This week, we spotlight Brandon Emperato, cashier at Wegmans.
Q. What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A. Being here working. So far it's been the best two weeks. Everyone here is really together.
Q. What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
A. Probably when you get different kinds of payments; it can get confusing because there are so many.
Q. What would be your dream job, and in what part of the world would you be working?
A. I want to be an electrical engineer and go to RIT.
Q. What's the best way to relax after a tough day?
A. Lay down and watch some TV.
Q. What do you like most about living and/or working in the Finger Lakes region?
A. You will know a lot of people. I did after only two weeks of working here.
Q. If you had the choice of meeting any three people in the world who would they be, and why?
A. Dane Cook, he's my favorite comedian, and I watch his stuff a lot. Emeril, because I watch his cooking show sometimes. And Mike Rowe, of the show “Dirty Jobs” on the Discovery Channel.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A. Being an electrical engineer.
Q. If you were to win the lottery tomorrow, what's the first thing you'd do?
A. I'd buy a car.
Q. What would people who think they know you be most surprised to find out about you?
A. I'm a horrible liar.
Q. If you were mayor or supervisor of your town/city, what's the first thing you'd change?
A. I'd make summer longer.
Q. Do you have any special plans for the next few months?
