Musso, Murphy set pace for Rangers

Cody Musso and Justin Murphy each had three hits as the Rangers edged the Indians 13-12 in an Auburn Boys and Girls Baseball League game on Friday.
Noah Marr added two hits for the Rangers while Trevor Hesse, Skyler Sliwka and Braeden Curry led the defense.

Macey Wilson, Olivia Amoia and Austin Cuff added three hits apiece for the Indians and Andrew Boblione chipped in with two hits.

Jacob Podfigurny played well defensively.

BABE RUTH LEAGUE

Auburn Fire Department 8, Auburn Police Department 3

Nate Donch earned the win while Tim Smith (three hits), Zach Clark (two hits), Greg Giannota (double), Mike Gamba and Mike Westmiller led the AFD offense.

For APD, Gavin Gleason, Steve Titus and Cody Cottrell all had hits. Nate Kayn and Titus split pitching duties.
