Balanced attack leads Cuddy past BMW

Alex Blodgett, Lacey Netti and Sydny Fallat each found the net as Cuddy Financial topped BMW Tax Service 3-1 in a Fingerlakes Minor Soccer League Squirt Division game on Wednesday.
Netti also provided an assist while Nick Gavras and Blodgett played well in goal.

Cuddy's defense was led by Abby Babbett and Buck Haines.

For BMW, Riley Spingler scored and Riley Parker assisted. Kayle Kunkle was the goalie and Dylan Schaub and Steve Gilfos led the defense.

Colby Real Estate 2, Bre-Cole Heating 0

Matt Pisano and Matt Van Liew scored for Colby. Tamara Broome and Jacob Wansor had two saves in goal while Molly Merrill tallied one save.

Colby was led defensively by Eric Chindamo.

For Bre-Cole, Paige Marshall had one save and Caleb Canino had two. Bethany Salmonsen, Nicole Foular, Devon Thomas and Casey Relft led the defense.

SENIOR DIVISION

Cranebrook Tree 4, Tinkers 3

Ali Taylor, Adam Cadwallader, Katie Stolz and Cody Phair all scored for Cranebrook while Zach Morrissette had 19 saves.

Emily Mahoney and Katie Kelly led the defense.

Mitchell Taylor scored twice and Daved Griffith scored once. Adam Wellington added one assist.

Mykel Canales had nine saves and Griffith had three. Defensively, Tinkers was led by Chelsea Crawford and Maggie O'Brien.

BANTAM DIVISION

Bergen & Young 1, Calkins Drywall 0

Dan O'Hara scored and Natalie Stoneburg assisted for Bergen. Mitch Ellinwood added two saves in goal and the defense was led by December Kurtz.

For Calkins, Nate Fiacco had two saves and Gillian Steves had two saves. The defense was paced by James Ryan and Lianna Brentlinger.

Michael's Restaurant 4, Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home 0

Dan Mastropietro and Mike Vanderhoof scored two goals apiece for undefeated Michael's, while Amanda Daly provided two assists.

Leading the defense was Jonathan Johnson, Daly, Jonathan Sanders and Jenna Jenkins.

For Heieck-Pelc, Andrew Farinelli had eight saves and Chris Frost and Vanessa Groom led the defense.

ATOM DIVISION

Auburn Federal Credit Union 4, Grandma's Graphics 0

Daniel Netti scored three goals for AFCU and Alex Liberatore scored one goal.

AUBURN ARSENAL

Brazil 2, Italy 2

Jennifer Currier and Marissa Roe scored for Brazil. Anna Cuthbert had two assists and 10 saves in goal.

For Italy, Michaela Breeze and Stephanie Milewski scored while Breeze and Emily Gillespie had one assist each.

Iceland 4, Hungary 0

Cecilia Spin scored twice and Devin Guinnip (assist) and Brooke Whitman (assist) also scored. Alana Stillman added another assist for Iceland.

North Carolina 2, Dolphins 1

Sydney Fallat scored both North Carolina goals while Jessica Casper and Abbie Boglione provided assists. Anna Sabine led the defense.

Owyn Guinnip scored the lone goal for the Dolphins.

Cortland 5, Princeton 1

Alexandra Mitchell scored all five Cortland goals. Marissa Bachman, Alexis Bashta, Abigail Delaney, Lindsay May and Laiken Wilson each assisted.

For Princeton, Amanda Dellostritto scored.
