Donch picks up six RBIs

Nate Donch had three hits and drove in six runs as Auburn Fire Department defeated Auburn Federal Credit Union 12-4 in an Auburn Babe Ruth League game Wednesday.
In addition to Donch, the AFD offense was led by Tim Smith (two hits), Zach Clark (double) and Mike Westmiller. Smith earned the win.

For AFCU, Kris Catino, Chris Anderson and Trevor Doan all had hits and all pitched.

PONY LEAGUE

Auburn Firefighters 17, AFCU 5

Anthony Torres (two strikeouts) and Benny Pinchak (eight strikeouts) combined to toss a three-hitter for Firefighters. Leading the offense was Jay Mizro (four singles), Malcolm Kellog (three hits, home run, triple), Austin Duger (two hits, double), Mike Kick (three hits), Anthony Miccuci (two hits), Max Pinchak (home run), Ben Pinchak and Nick Petrosino.

Johnny Eldred played well defensively.

For AFCU, Brandon Noga pitched well. Austin Martinez doubled and had two singles while PJ Casper played well defensively.

Dunkin Donuts 14, The Citizen 12, seven innings

Trent Lawrence (double, single), Pat LaDouce (double, single), Tiger Smith (two hits), Tyler Spearking, Jared Palmer and Tyler Quinn led the Dunkin Donuts offense. Brent DeBois, Jared Palmer, Quinn and Smith split pitching duties.

For The Citizen, the offense was led by Joe Dyson (double), John Brown (two hits), Chris Wawro (two hits), Jack Hensel (two hits), John Duffy (two hits) and Nick Covish.

Defensiveloy, Dyson, Covich and Hensel turned a triple play. Pitching duties were split by Brown, Wawro, Tyler Schmid and Hensel.

Elks Lodage 5, Casler Masonry 2

Paul Musso tripled, singled and pitched for Elks. Seam McCole also singled and helped lead the offense with Ivan Dawley.

Lucas Maffei and Cameron Perry also played well for Elks.

For Casler, Brandon Delf had two hits while Jon Bell and Casey Komanecky also had hits. Delf also pitched.

BOYS AND GIRLS LEAGUE

Leader Chiropractic Cubs 21, Auburn Police Yankees 11

Cierra Leader went 3-for-3 and Emmet Mack added a grand slam. Reagan Polcovich, Eric Kennedy and Nathan Wawro also led the offense while Ryan Bonilla and Greg Walsh led the defensive effort.

For the Yankees, Jackson Engle, Nick Audioun and Nate Lupo had three hits apiece. Sara Szozda and McKenzie Wise played well defensively.

Tru-cut Technology Orioles 19, Coleman Chiropractic Blue Jays 18

Elijah Lincoln hit a walk-off double that put the Orioles on top for good. Dylan Carnicelli and Zachary Stanton supported the comeback with three RBIs each.

Lea Van Ostrand, Kaleb Fasce and Trenton Quinn added two RBIs while Paige Lincoln had one RBI.

Hunter Duger commanded the defense making six key outs. He also had two RBIs.

Daniel Baumes played well in center field and was supported by Gregoy Baumes, Clay Van Ostrand and Kaelyn Stanton.

The Blue Jays' Sammy Conley, Tony Sylvester, Emma Nolan and Alli Bolak hit doubles.

Liam Schultz tripled while Ross Burgmaster and Brendan Ramero played well defensively.

Printery Brewers 17, Empire Hardware Dodgers 10

Lucuc Purcell homered and scored twice while Nathan Hyde and Ryan Treat each scored three runs for the Brewers. Jamie McBain and Ryan Treat led the defense.

For the Dodgers, Parker Hogan (three runs), Lucas Hogan (three runs), Garrett Schafer (three runs) and Chris Smith (one run) led the attack.

Byrne Dairy Mets 19, Vision Care Associated Athletics 18

Eric Lupo had three hits, including the game-winner, while Kellen Fedigan had three hits and scored the game-winning run. Cameron Hodson and Julia Tozzi also had three hits apiece for the Mets while Chris Maywalt led the defense.

For the Athletics, Halley Quinton and Ben Spinosa had four hits and Kate Diffin had three hits. Noah Martin led the defense.

First Niagara Rangers 20, Daut's Braves 14

The Rangers were paced by Jimmy McKeen (four hits), Brandyn McKeen (four) and Rachel Tarby (three) led the offense while Hannah Diego, Stacey Ryan and Braeden Curry led the defense.

Reed Chronic had three hits and a grand slam for the Braves while James Roeschlaub and John Malandrucclo each had three hits. Spencer Elser and Lindsey Debois played well defensively.
