Only two more Majors left on this year's PGA Tour Schedule - the British Open and the PGA Championship. The season finale this year will be the huge money purse FedEx Cup, to be held for four consecutive weeks at four different tournaments.
The finale will be based on year-long point standings that will be re-shuffled at the end of the year. Should be interesting.

High ball hitters have a real advantage when hitting their shots into greens. You know the old saying, “If you want to hit it high, finish high; if you want to hit it low, finish low.”
Repeatability is the key word in any individual approach to the golf swing. You have to find a method that repeats for you under any conditions.
A member of a club where Ben Hogan belonged asked Hogan to take him to the range and show him how to hook the ball. Hogan agreed.
When they got the range, the member got all set to learn the secret. He asked Hogan, who was standing next to him, what he should do.
Hogan simply replied, “If you want to hook the ball, go ahead and hook it.” Then he walked away.

I never get tired of practicing and of learning different things concerning the golf swing and hitting golf shots. It is a lifelong work in progress, just like anything else we do.
Time on the range is not only quiet and relaxing but great exercise. It is also great to get out on the range and teach golfers what they need to know about their own swings.
There is no better feeling than that of helping a student discover something they needed to know, and of hearing them tell you it was “a job well done.”
It is humbling and satisfying to be able to help a golfer on their road to golf proficiency and discovery.
See you on the links!
