Ladisair tosses gem as Auburn All-Stars advance

Cody Ladisair pitched a complete game, scattering five hits while striking out 10 to lead the Auburn All-Stars to a 5-2 victory over Geneva All-Stars in the semifinals of the District V Little League Tournament at Emerson Park in Auburn.
Ladisair also picked up three hits at the plate while Mike Gentile hit a long home run to give Auburn an insurance run in the fourth inning.

Mike Carberry, Hunter Charles and Ryan Ringwood added RBIs while Ringwood, Mike Foltz, John Rizzo, Mikey Charles and Tom Alexander played errorless defense.

Auburn plays in the finals today at 7:30 p.m. against Waterloo.

ACF 13, Nucor 11

Ryan McCormick hit a two-out, three-run homer to cap a six-run sixth inning for ACF.

Zach Siracusa had four hits including two doubles and Sam Martin had three hits and four runs scored. Nick McQueeney and Colin Kalabanka had two hits apiece while Mike Schmid and Tyler Schmid led the defense.

Jacob Jackson shut down Nucor in the bottom of the sixth to seal the victory.

Mike Baim, Erik Baim and Christian Bozek scored two runs apiece, while John Rizzo and Cody Ladisair had hits to lead Nucor.

BOYS AND GIRLS LEAGUE

Fingerlakes Dermatology Red Sox 13, Tim's Power Washing Cardinals 11

Ben O'Hearn, Taylor Lansbury, Matt Mahunik and Connor Davia had three hits apiece and Michael Procino (triple) added two hits for the Red Sox. Kaiden Tubbert led the defense.

For the Cardinals, Jason Baranick had three hits, Ryan Chalupnicki had two hits including a triple, and Jake Rielly had two hhhits.

Chalupnicki turned an unassisted double play in the field.

Tru-Cut Technology Orioles 22, Empire Hardware Dodgers 9

Zachary Stanton, Dylan Carnicelli and Elijah Lincoln combined for four home runs for the Orioles.

Gregory Baumes added two RBIs, Paige Lincoln had two hits and Hunter Duger made six outs defensively.

Reagan Graney pitched well for the Orioles. The infield was led defensively by Trenton Quinn, Kaelyn Stanton, Kaleb Fasce and Daniel Baumes.

For the Dodgers, Parker Hogan and Lucas Hogan had three hits apiece and led the team on defense. Josh Lentini also added a double.

Children's Health Specialists Marlins 20, Daddabbo's Pizza Indians 14

T.J. Reilly homered, Sam Carbonaro doubled and David Hearn had two hits for the Marlins. Kailee Brooks and Sam Vasile led the defense.

Giavanni Pettigrass hit a grand slam while J.J. Wilmot and Cooper Wilson added three hits apiece for the Indians.

Leader Chiropractic Cubs 19, Coleman Chiropractic Blue Jays 18

Nick Rink, Cierra Leader and Chloe Leader each went 3-for-3 while Briley Lazio and Noah Rielly hit triples for the Cubs. Baylee Kennedy played well at the catcher position and Alexander Blodgett played well at first base.

For the Blue Jays, Brendon Ramero (triple), Michael Pidlypchak (triple), Tony Sylvester (double), Jacob Coleman (double), Sammy Conley (double) and Liam Schultz (defense) led the way.

BABE RUTH LEAGUE

Byrn's 5, SK Post 4

Brian Church (double), Adam Hurd and Tim Locastro had two hits each while Justin Lyndaker got the win.

Brian Roe and Mike Ferlenda split pitching duties for SK Post while Dave Sargent (two hits) and Bob Dushatinski (two hits) led the offense.

ACF 6, Auburn Federal Credit Union 3

Nick Calarco scattered six hits and struck out seven to lead ACFR. Mike Petrosino made a game-saving catch the end the game.

Leading the offense was Bobby Gage (double, two singles), Mike Gordon (three singles), Mike Galka (double), Jamie Terry (double), Chris Watros and Nick Herlihy.

For AFCU, Matt Festa (two hits), Chris Anderson (double), Chris Catino (double) and Brandon Bozek led the offense while Bozek (two strikeouts) and Trevor Doan (three strikeouts) split pitching duties.

SANDLOT LEAGUE

Byrne's Trophy 13, Vietnam Vets 13

Brendon Brahney got the game ball for Byrne's while Ryan O'Conner and Joel Richards each scored three times. Nickolas Hunt scored once.

For Vietnam, Jacob Rhoden broke his hitting drought with two big hits and received the game ball. Lauren Lawson also led the offense.

Butler Services 13, Gaston-Moore 9

Kyle Nolte and Zach Squires had five hits each while Kaylyn McCarthy, Lilly Bellnier and Matthew Wood had four hits apiece.

For Gaston-Moore, Brady Elster (three runs), Joby Lenton (one run) and Nathan Lisk led the way.
