D-days, Spinners rained out Sunday
The game between the Auburn Doubledays and Lowell Spinners was postponed on Sunday due to rain.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader today, beginning at 6 p.m.

Football physicals begin Thursday

Pop Warner Football will be holding physicals from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19 and 26, at Dr. Marc Pietropaoli's office in Skaneateles.

Moravia youth league picnic is today

The Moravia youth league is holding its annual picnic for all teams, coaches, players and parents today, at Fillmore Glen State Park.

Families are asked to bring a dish. Meat and beverages will be provided.

Awards will be given out at 6:15 p.m.

YMCA volleyball camp begins today

The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is hosting a girls volleyball camp from 8:30 a.m to noon today through July 20.

There will be a pizza party on the last day for all participants. The camp is open to girls ages 12 and older.

The fee is $40 for Y members and $80 for the general public.

The fee includes a camp T-shirt.

Wrestling camp to be held in August

The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is hosting a Wrestling Camp from 8:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 6-10. Auburn coach John Alberici will be the instructor.

The camp is open to both boys and girls ages 8 to 12. The camp will be held at Auburn High School.

The cost is $40 for Y members and $80 for the general public.

The camp fee includes a pizza party and a camp T-shirt.

Open shooting each Sunday morning

The Cayuga County Sportsmen's Club is offering skeet, 5-stand, trap and sporting clays shooting every Sunday morning starting at 9 a.m.

Breakfast to benefit Sandlot baseball

There will be a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. July 22 at Applebees in support of Kids Sandlot Baseball. Tickets to attend cost $5.

Zonta golf tourney set for July 23

The Zonta Club of Auburn's 13th annual Sherri Peter Memorial women's golf tournament will be at Highland Golf Club on July 23.

Registration for the tournament is $65 and all proceeds are used to advance the status of women in Cayuga County.

The tournament will have a two-woman scramble format, flighted by handicap, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
