" I read many complaints here on 2 cents, so I though of: What would do if I were mayor, so here is my list 1. Have a flat tax in Auburn. There is no reason some people are paying most of the taxes and other are paying very little or none. 2. Increase fines for litterbugs---to 250.00 even cigarettes are littering. Will help keep out city clean. 3. Bind all elected official to their promises within 2 year of their election. This way they cannot make promises they can’t keep. If the promises are not fulfilled within the 2 years they will be removed. 4. Remove Insurance for ALL part time employees OR make them pay for it 5. Increase the police force by 3 officials per shift, and increase fines for traffic violation to include a 100.00 city surcharge. Install cameras at problem intersections to record violations. 6. Any person who has been arrested for violent crimes 3 times or more will be required to relocate outside the city. The people of auburn do not need criminals living here. People then can live in peace and walk around without the worry of crime. 7. Every Friday night have a concert downtown, with a 2 drink maximum. In bad weather the Owasso lake area would have a concert building built. 8.
