I have read nothing yet regarding our state representatives giving themselves a nice pay raise probably along with a comfortable increase in their expense checks. Our state and federal government are as much as the problem as the oil monopoly that exists here. When will we learn you cannot serve two masters.

You know things are going bad when Mary Lou starts making more sense than city council. Timmy and Matt Smith should take their pal Palesh and move to Utah. Maybe the rule under the Mormons will suit them better: their backwards philosophies; we need a progressive government in this town.

There has also been another piece of property that's been cluttered, that never mows the grass, the house is falling down, but the code enforcement keeps their blinders on.

Why is it that I can watch on public access on cable TV, public servants literally breaking the law, admitting to knowledge of crimes, among other horrors, and not only does nothing happen, but it's never seen on regular TV news and it's never read in the paper. Why is that?

I know people who never miss going to church, but when it comes to giving a helping hand to someone in need, they make themselves scarce. I guess they go to church just for the sake of appearances.

The person that wrote the malicious and untrue message that John F. Kennedy started our involvement in the Vietnam War should review his history; Lyndon Johnson was president at that time. John F. Kennedy was one of our better presidents, unlike what we have in now.
