HDL prepares site for development
East Syracuse developer HDL Property Group is doing some site preparation work on its property next to Walgreens, 150 Grant Ave., Auburn.

Original plans call for about 17,000 square feet of commercial space on the site next to the pharmacy, which opened last year. No tenants have been nailed down for the site, according to Guy Hart Jr., who said HDL hopes to move forward with construction within the next six months.

“We're hoping to be developing very soon,” Hart said this week. “We have had a lot of interest for that space from some national retailers.”

In the meantime, crews have been cleaning up the area, he said.
